8track are PRS & PPL licensed (and have similar affiliations worldwide) ensuring musicians and artists receive their royalties, fairly and squarely. We also have direct relationships with emerging musicians and record labels, so we can obtain tracks before they get released.

Disrepute clock room key 8track Music Solutions

What We Do

Who? Members bar Disrepute

Where? Soho. On the site of the former The Kingly Club, once frequented by Marilyn Monroe, Peter O’Toole and Audrey Hepburn.

Our brief: The owners of Disrepute had a vision: Glorious Soho in the early 60’ in its opulent, sleazy prime. The best music and clubs. People who were fast, beautiful and dangerous to know. Disrepute needed the music to set this scene, so we made them a library of British rock tunes from 1960-64 – a dynamite era for British bands when The Stones were singing Hendrix and The Who were covering Motown. Meticulously creating the perfect era playlists for Disrepute realised their concept.


Who? Brasilian/Anglo restaurant Cabana

Where? Eleven locations nationwide

Cabana says: Cabana is vibrant and theatrical. Brazil is known for its food and, of course, for its music so it’s essential we have great music playing to create the right atmosphere. 8track Music Solutions curate our Cabana playlists. They’ve got an amazing music understanding, and their software enables us to play tracks according to different times of day, with selections to maintain a flowing tempo and energy.  They ensure our music is in keeping with our developing brand and remains freshly updated so regulars and staff don’t hear the same music playing over and over again.



Who? Gail’s Bread

Where? Multiple sites, nation-wide

What we did...Each Gails site is individual and yet uniquely “Gail’s”. 
We spent time understanding their ethos and requirements – Gail’s are an artisan baker, who wanted their customers to come for the bread, and stay for a cake and barista coffee. They needed a music library that would create a signature sound across the brand. 
We created a music policy that worked from early morning ’til night, with a mix of relaxed tunes spanning different decades of soul and world music adding ambience and atmosphere to each site. Gail’s have told us they regularly get compliments on their music selection.




Who? Burger and Lobster

Where? UK +12 sites. 

What we did… Burger and Lobster’s concept is a simple one – surf ‘n’ turf for the masses. The needed a music library that would represent their brand -fast-paced, casual and urban.
We worked closely with them to develop multiple playlists for distinct needs, including staff morning set-up playlists and a Sunday Northern Soul set.
We also developed a #throwbackthursday soundtrack including disco, funk and pop across the decades, to tie in with their social media marketing.
